Some new noodle finds.

Groovy Pedro. :good: The 2010 poo is much harder to find than the 2009 eh.

That's the second type of emu join to shield you've found isn't it?

Nice 2c too AussieSilver.

Only found one of each of the 2009 and 2010 poo roos so far but it has taken longer to find the 2010!

Yes, Uni, two types of emu/shield joins now. They look to be pretty much in the same spot but the other one was more of a straight line link.

Think I may have to revisit my decimals again, been focused on the predecimals, some great  pics there. Always helpful to see what to look for.

From the images I have, it appears that I have had up to 6 x 2009 Poo Roos, and just 1 x 2010. But as I'm not really doing any real noodling these days,  I can't expect to find much. :whistle2:

A couple of the 2009 images are named 'swap' so it's possible that I might have swapped one or two somewhere along the line.

I reckon she's forgotten to pluck her eyebrows lately and they've run amok.

A few noodling finds yesterday.

From $200 of 20¢ , much the usual -couple of CoF, UN, Bradman......and these two I thought worth a mention;
The best 2008 gap I have found. Scan doesn't do it justice -high lustre.

First 1993 20¢ I recall finding. None in my circulated 20¢ album which supports that theory.
The RAM says "No twenty cent coins were produced in 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992 or 1993" Maccas and Renniks both quote mintage figure of 1.49M -apparently salvaged from unsold mint sets and issued into circulation later.

And put this one on your list of ones to look for.
2015 big spew/knapsack? $1. Another that a scan doesn't do justice to.
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

Mister T

Nice finds Jeff! Incidentally, I think more recent editions of McDonalds note that the 1993 is a mint set only year.

JeffH

22nd edition still lists them as "CIRC" with the note that none were minted for circulation (only mint sets) but 1,495,500 issued later. Same note also refers to "pre-1987 dates so that appears to contradict that number being 1993 dated coins.
A clarification would be nice, if anyone knows. I am undecided if I should put that coin on a circulation issue page or mint set only year (but found circulating) page in my album. OK, they were minted for mint sets only but, if actually issued from Mint to circulation I would consider that a genuine circulation coin. [Splitting hairs I know.]
