so does that mean more will be released?

Here's a nice round number for post 100, what about 50,000 rolls:shock::diablo:
As we age we lose three things, one is our memory and arrrrr I've forgotten the other two!

You should probably prepare yourself for that, yes.

No, you do not need to. There will be no more provided.

Total number rolled was to the demand of people who attended the event in Melbourne on the Wednesday and Sydney on the Thursday. The RAM made this quite clear in the invite before the event and the talk at the event. In Melbourne, I saw about four to six boxes of rolls there for participants to pick up. Others would have been shipped directly to dealers premises (some interstate dealers had made the trip and others had arranged representatives).

Sorry I cannot talk about the future RAM releases as the information is currently under embargo.

By the way, all the rolls are heads-tails.

So we've got two sources of conflicting information from the RAM.  The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

No.
You misread the email information you received. It is quite clear.

I think you are putting too much faith in your piece of paper.  It's not a contract, it's an invitation.  Time will only tell what they will do.

Is paper more substantial than an email?

Well they are both made of artfully arranged sub-atomic particles so who can say :)  The email (IMHO) opens the door for the possibility for more of these to be made.  The RAM has done it before.  Although if they do it this time they'd want to be careful to only release the rolls through the dealer market and WELL after dealers who bought them at the product launch have sold their stocks.  If they are not very careful they could end up upsetting a lot of people.

No electrons were harmed in the making of this email (or page) although some were severely inconvenienced.

The RAM's track record is not good but they did promise that the rolls would not be available after the events the week before last.
Of course, the coins will eventually be released through security companies. These days the RAM appears to be releasing circulation coins in those little bags but some will eventually be rolled by the security companies.

Well I hope you are right.  I am advocating caution to those who are ponying up big dollars for these rolls.  I'd hate to see people sitting on $150 rolls and then we see another release of the same thing in a few months time.

To be honest though I advocate caution to anyone who pays multiples of issue price for any recently released mint product.

Did anyone ever get confirmation that the RAM are the ones producing the bags? The evidence points to it, but they point blank refused to answer my query, citing 'security' bullshit. Handy catch-all for governments and corporations nowadays, innit?
