I saw Donald trump on TV again boasting how well "we" (the majestic pronoun? He usually only talks about himself and I don't think that has really changed.) are doing in overcoming Covid-19.
So I checked the most recent figures. Australia, with 99 deaths, has 4 deaths per million of population. USA with 90,978 deaths has 275 deaths per million population.
Draw your own conclusion.

The treatment he is taking has been used for decades and rarely has side effects. Most of the so called deaths are deaths due to other causes and the main cause of this virus death in the US is due to the policies of US states requiring nursing homes to admit infected persons. The majority of deaths are in nursing homes or the homes of elderly people and in many (most?) cases the number 1 vector is nursing staff.
Big Pharma is pushing expensive options when there are already cheap, reliable and off patent treatments such as what Trump is taking. It works best when used as a prophylactic or when used wart once symptoms appear. Several hospitals have treated hundreds of patients with 100% success rate as they started treatment early. It has little benefit when only used in late stage treatment..
The whole lockdown is a farce as people who stay indoors are not getting enough sunlight and this disease is highly corellated with vitamin D deficiency.

No cov9 sufferers in my post code 2146. Does that mean we are all clean livers here, or just lucky?

No cov9 incidents at Westmead Hospital ( Sydney) for 2 weeks.
That because they shut all the dozens of ways of getting into the precinct EXCEPT the main entrances and manned those with temp gun toting staff.
You get checked, arm banded.
No village size lots of people allowed in (like 30 rellos for one sicky), 2 nominated for one patient.
Result: runny nose staff or rellos stopped at door and turned around. No spread of monkey pox/bat virus/coughs.

Pretty much like we did for the nation, EXCEPT for a couple  of instances, we know what happened there.
That could have been the whole nation if we had been stupid like England and America.

Only 2 active cases here in W.A. (that we know of) and no cases in hospitals.
We can start getting back to normality now. Fortress WA has worked.
