I tried the link when I got mine, and ran into the big burly bouncers in ill-fitting suits who demanded my invitation.

They really have no idea how to run a forum, do they? Should just hire Mark to set it up, or give ACF official status. ;)

Quote from: 'trout' pid='98347' dateline='1474316143'I notice that the changeover coin "baggie's" are still listed as "Temporarily Unavailable" at the RAM shop
I hope that None of our Members have "missed out" on these because normally the next step is the "Allocation Exhausted" tag.

they have been up on the website for a fair while now
so members here should have had plenty of time to pop in an order  with the RAM

I am thinking that with such a late release of the $2 coin it may just be a low mintage, Time will tell :ok:

I just received an email from SYC  threatening to ban me indefinitely if I talked about SYC on other forums.
I have now Quit SYC because I won't be censored for telling the truth when asked a question and quite frankly I didn't appreciate the bullying email one iota.
I know that the person that sent me that email "lurks" on this forum and "Trolls" whatever any SYC member has to say here, So if you are a Member at SYC be wary of what you say here if you want to remain a member Because you are being monitored unfortunately :ok:

And this surprises you? Its exactly the sort of bullshit that the Facebook groups suffer from, along with previous RAM forums and even independent ones. There's been a bit of this kind of thing on CCF, and even to a very mild degree, here. Why do you think AJ regularly spits the dummy and storms off?

That kind of thing really shits me, BTW, and if I hadn't already decided any 'official' forum was just going to be a marketing ploy and therefore not worth my investment, I too would quit in disgust.

I joined SYC in the hope that I could get some straight answers from RAM But that unfortunately was a forlorn hope But if you don't try then you can't even hope to succeed with anything.
The site is basically a resource for the marketing department and anyone that asks too many awkward  questions or discusses problems with RAM's performance are not welcome there.

The only thing of value I got from my time on SYC is when Dion opened up and explained exactly how the Wedding Set coins were produced, This is something that wasn't common knowledge to the collecting community at the time :good:

I notice that the changeover 50c, bags and the 5c, 10c and 20c bag bundle are No longer listed for sale.
So these of you that were waiting for the $1 and $2 coins to become available again to get the whole set at once won't be able to do so now.

I am thinking that the home rolling crew have had a serious impact on the availability at the RAM Shop of not only the Olympic coins but these changeover coins as well :(

Use your common sense, The easiest and most cost efficient way to source the large numbers of coins needed for the rolls would be directly from RAM :ok:
