Your wish is my command!

Just getting back to rolling rolls sorry, how do you do it  do you have some sort of device that helps you as I can't even undo them let alone do them back up like they haven't been touched, yes I'm hopeless..but at least I can admit it
I really am interested to learn and I sussed youtube but they only fold the ends not roll them.

ok
get your mum to pull out a fine crochet hook and gently unpick the folded end seams of the roll
slide the coins out or bash them out

pop in your fake coins and then get mum to gently place the end seam back into place

oh and don't forget to pop a heads tails coronation $2 at each end

then pop it on ebay  ....... or facebook

unless you mean about rolling from scratch
don't know how to do that
maybe a cardboard tube?

Noodlers in the US have been re rolling their rejects and taking them back to the bank for decades.

The Americans have the "nice and tight" bit down pat for hand done rolls. They use ready made tubes, shove the coins in and then fold the ends over. It is actually quicker to hand roll from scratch -just needs a bit of practice to get the knack. The secret is to fold the end in when you start rolling as that helps maintain the tension.
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

I use a dental tool with a flat golf club-like thing on one end and a round burr on the other. I believe they're used for packing fillings. Ask your dentist. :)

An ice cream stick is handy for getting the coins out. Don't crush the tube.

Leave one end intact. Fill the roll. Start by folding the end over all the way round, then fold again, and tuck the end under. It takes a little practice, but its not hard. It also depends whether you're trying to deceive or just store coins more efficiently. It doesn't have to be perfect if its just storage.

To do it from scratch, start with an arrow-shaped piece of paper the same as Armaguard use. Roll it up while using your third hand to hold the coins in, fold over both ends as above, then finish one end. Tap it down to settle the coins and go back and do the other end.

Now that all the fanfare has subsided It is time to watch the prices fall on eBay as the interest falls away on these coins

Quote from: 'Goldseeker' pid='96361' dateline='1472632467'I checked a couple of Woollies stores today for zero coins.

The promotion is all done and dusted now Bruce and I think you will find that 90% of the coins are now available on eBay

Managed to pick up a few Paralympics and a green yesterday but that was about the tail of the supplies locally.

I am just checking out a few stores and possibly securing more coins/bags to pass on to those that missed out.

Don't bother. They had directions to dump whatever was left on Sun/Mon. Anything they have now has been paid in by customers, and will be rubbish.

Not the case at my local Woolies. On Tue 31/8 I asked for 2x Paralympic coins and was given them out of a bag, but the checkout chick had to look in a 2nd register drawer. I 'had' to get these to accompany the 2 sets sent to me by Jim. I could have had more coins, but I only needed 2.
