Holographic images are not that hard to make.

All you need is a model of some sort, a laser and a beam splitter. Although producing a security hologram from the image is a little more involved. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security_hologram

Forging one is a whole 'nuther can of worms though, which is why they're so successful. ;)

Don't you think it is a bit cheeky putting a security hologram on product that isn't your own all except the wrapping

Not if the only thing you're actually selling IS the wrapping.

Look at PCGS. What does the hologram tell you? That PCGS made the coin? Of course not.

:scratch_one-s_head: funny how some are selling for $900 and others are selling for $999 and how many sellers there are for this AMAZING "presale" offer. Nice ploy to find out how many to wrap up and some of the suss sale techniques like "a collectors dream", no a collectors dream is to get nice coins we can actually admire be it in a 2x2 or a slab because who'd want to pay this extravagant amount for "specially" sealed rolls. So with every man and his dog selling these "exclusive" rolls who's making all the money :dodgy:

WOW $600 for a few bits of "black" paper and 6 sticker, and I don't think you can compare that with pcgs that is giving you their thoughts on a grade of a coin..I see what your getting at but it's not the same sorry

:yahoo: Maybe we can combine RRM with AJPCGS and make a killin RG :friends:
A wise person knows there is something to learn from everyone.

robbiegal

lets do it possum
we can have the exclusive AJPCGS Bubble patented 20 cents - packaged in the EXCLUSIVE Robbie's Royal Mint holographic slab - limited production numbers available so pre-order NOW and don't miss out on this investment opportunity
I'm with ya

then we can add Roozilla to the pre-order options

all jokes aside some dealerships have always packaged coin lines i.e. Sherwoods' coin sets which are quite collectable now , Downies coin sets or single packs
but at least those dealerships
1. clearly advertise their ownership of the product packaging and have their business name on the packaging
2. have photographs of the said items
No smoke and mirrors, 'no invisible private company',  no claim to limited "mintage" when in this case there is some evidence of manufacturers production numbers varying across seller sites. Who the hell is the customer sending their pre-order money to?????

anyways, collectors are treated as fools by some and sadly ALL of the coloured $2 coins are the epitome of this
and yep, I have been sucked in too
pity

anyways the hubby picked up some para + 2 greens last night from a nice checkout chick when he went to get me some decaff coffee at 10 pm
she had a bag but absolutely refused to hand over a bag "not allowed to give them out" it's norti, so the hubby asked about where the norti checkout chicks are so that he could get a bag complete! ha ha

i have enjoyed the fun of the checkout collection and I am sure that thousands of other aussies have as well
i'll keep my checkout coins but be getting rid of the rest that i have accumulated over the years

Robster

Mini rolls of 10 coins (for those with limited space), wrapped in colours to match the coins! Only one set will be available so price will be huge!

:laugh2: love both comments :)

Gee it's sounding like a good plan RG, just have to get the go ahead from the mother company "TTM" The Trout Mint but I can't see that being a problem :D
A wise person knows there is something to learn from everyone.

robbiegal

no probs
we can be a little sister and little brother company

TTM is delighted to announce the new private partnership with RRMAJPCGS and the release of the limited edition Robster mini rolls holographic BLUE wrap - don't be tricked by the black wrap mob ha ha

i can see the headlines now ha ha

off to the markets a bit late in the day but will be nice to get out into the real world after being home sick for so damn long

xx see ya later

ausjack

:laugh2: with so many letters we might have to come up with a new name or we'll have to make over sized slabs to get all the name on them.
Have a lovely day :)

What might work is an acronym -they can be very effective for company identity and promotion. You only have one vowel in your initials so that makes it hard. And, way too long.
It needs to be simple and short so prospective customers will easily remember it. It also need to include your brand; not just who you are but what you do. That way the customer will, not only remember you, but associate it with your services and products.

You need some expert advice and I recommend you consult Unicorn & Associates who are very experienced at this.

Meanwhile, here is a sample of the way I am thinking;
Coins -Robbeigal and Ausjack, the Professionals!
Short, simple, defines your brand and memorable.
Happy to be of help.
P.S. Where do I send the bill for the advice?
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

robbiegal

cool thanks :yahoo:
i reckon that advice is worth say 2 Limited edition Robster Rolls
express delivery too
