Thanks for the feedback Guys, it's all a bit of a learning curve especially when one is just looking from the sidelines, and I do get your consistency arguments. Looking ahead as someone considering to become active in this form of collecting, and not that anything I had to send would amount to a whole lot, but I'm a mite turned off by the extra costs involved with postage and insurance and not to forget the risk factor. It sure would be more soothing to deal with a local franchise. Maybe one day :)

Thanks guys it would have been a much better result if a certain Mr Cotton hadn't gotten an
MS66+ and an MS67 round 50's a couple of weeks ago but I'm still very happy with the above results

Not sure when they actually went over as I sent them though Eric but they have been out of my hands for about 8 weeks which is a lot faster than the previous run

I think the 1966 50 cent is an iconic Australian coin. As of now, 512 have been graded by PCGS. One has achieved MS67, one MS66+ and there are 48 MS66.

There has been a substantial increase in the population figures for this coin since April this year.
In April there were 87 MS65 coins and 15 graded higher, Now there are 142 MS65 coins and 50 graded higher.

This increase in the population normally equates to lower values unfortunately and my instincts tell me that Mr Cotton may be responsible here :ok:

Most thoughts indicate it's still early days in OZ as far as TPGing is concerned, it may be another 20 years before accurate populations are at hand?
