My submission from NGC arrived back today, No flash blue box just cardboard packaging But at a fraction of the postage cost that PCGS would have charged.
I also got back my saflips that I sent the coins away in complete with bar coded stickers and the odd 1 or 2 notations from the grader on them :)

I got some accurate grades which I think is more important than "Good" grades :)
But yes the coins graded from MS68-MS70 .

Good stuff :good: I like the idea of getting flips back as I asked once before what happens to them as it's an extra cost if you don't get them back and cheaper post also sounds good. Now I just need to find someone who can get me a credit card :whistle2:

So were the MS grades for the wedding coins or another submission

No these were a set of in come the dollars/cents coins.
They did get a a DPL designation as well :good:
Here's hoping that the 3 wedding sets I sent to NGC come back with the PL attribution and not just MS .

Yes, PCGS should still get it right but why leave it to chance? Adding the PCGS numbers does take a little bit of extra work but it is the attention to detail that pays off. Hopefully not too much room for confusion with my pre-decs.

All coins were submitted with PCGS ID numbers and descriptions Steve, unfortunately PCGS just chose to ignore them

Yeah I send them a coin which wasn't in their ID list but a similar (visually very different but same date and denomination) coin was in the list which I suspected they'd mistaken. I put in the comments in caps that the coin was something different but they slabbed it as that anyway.

If it's PCGS's error than they should wear all costs to have it fixed, but I doubt they will :(

According to the PCGS website for misattributed coins they refund the grading fee and postage and insurance costs incurred by the owner. Has anyone sent back misattributed coins and had these costs properly covered?

I've done this a few times, they send a cheque through.

my 1 and only misattributed was hard to believe  pcgs stuffed up .... they could not tell and/or read the obverse and differentiate between 'john V1 ' and 'Maria ' !!:-/:lazy2:
