couldn't resist ...... (as usual)

Stunning coin. I might have to make the drive out one weekend when the show is on to see what's being offered. You're always coming out with some real beauties!

thank-you
a closing time chat and I was helping the dealer pack -up and he just happened to 'show' me the coin as he was packing it away

small show but a nice casual Sunday session ; nothing posh

ps stevo - he did say choice unc but with that lift mark across from the forehead it would be more strictly, 'near choice' or choice unc with planchet fault noted
swings and round-a-bouts but it does translate to $$ variations with coins

You spent all day falling on your butt.  How could you have time to look at coins?

Yeah yeah I was out skating with my 10yo daughter and she tripped me and the result is a very purple bruised and sore butt. I know you're laughing at me.

Robbie picked up some lovely coins.

I've spent most of the time from 3PM today (until now, 8.30pm) cataloguing the mess that was on my desk.  I don't like to think how long some of it's been sitting around.  A while considering I've hardly bought anything for the last 3 months.  Here's some of the stuff I found and imaged and typed into my catalogue spreadsheet.

Trinidad 2 reales counterstamped with grid and flower on Spanish 2 reales circa 1810

South Africa 1c Clipped Planchet

Australia 1957 1d Indent

French Colonies 1779-1806 Stampee or Black Dogg

Australia 1966 50c Clipped Planchet
