Now what's going on here, is the top circle something like a stuck thru wire and the bottom a die crack? or am I just seeing thing :scratch_one-s_head:

what you look for on this coins - is where the denticles are pointing to the A in gratia and the I in Elizabeth (the lettering). In the hybrid 1956 y - they are pointing this way. In the 1955 y hybrid thy point between the denticles
if they are die cracks - they are of no significance for this error AJ - the die used for the obverse is what matters

Actually sold for $55 to a purple penny collector and would be
appreciated much more than if I had kept it

Dont worry AJ I got it and thats why I said the pretty penny sold for a pretty
penny but it wasn't pretty enough for me and that pretty much sums it up
