Robbie, That 27 florin has an exceptionally good die crack all the way around the Obverse legends, shame it got broached LOL

& yes i agree that Kel's coin is definitely die fill.

robbiegal

yeah i thought that too - great die crack there!

still haven't found the die cracks near the mace/s on any of mine

kel's coin looks genuine to me

Got this one today in a bulk lot.
Probably one of the nicest 51Y halves I've seen in the flesh. Too bad there is a bit of rub through the hair.

enworb

Very well struck for a perth 51. Most of them have horrible obverses.

[attachment=1814][attachment=1815]Hi, I have found a 47 half d with 2x die cracks.
One from T to A in Australia and another near the asterisk star after penny. Anyway, I think it is cool :icon_e_wink:
cheers

accumulator

Yes that is cool black sheep, the one through the star is wicked.:ok::good:

Thanks markn,
I think I spent the best part of last year looking for one.
Most are cleaned, heavily bag marked and overgraded.

I have been buying these nice 1959 halfpennies off an older chap for many years now,
today he had the very last one from the roll that he had
so I decided to get lucky last - finger-printed but still very lovely
the best ones of course were sold off years ago
