Congratulations.  I'm sure it's a big relief to be done with it for the time being.

I think it may just be the "Eye of the Storm" , There is always a coin missed

@ Emu666
You must have spent a heap of time effort and quids hunting down and  getting those exquisite dollar coins slabbed.
Then you have made the effort to photograph them (rather well) and post the pic's for all the members to enjoy.
Well done.
I take my hat off to you and I thank you for sharing :good:

Thanks trout.
I used to have one of each mintmark, but it was too expensive to get each of them in a PCGS slab.
I just used a scanner. A well set up camera system such as Mark and Kathryn's will do a better job as it shows up the lustre better.

This one is currently in an Eagle mount (it has also toned a little since the scan was taken):

That is a corker of a scanner Mate, What brand is it?
Mine is crap :dash1:
To get every mintmark and coin in the dollar set slabbed would require putting on a balaclava and robbing a bank, 300 odd coins at $30 odd  each is simply way out of 99% of collectors reach.
Quite frankly just getting every Dollar coin available costs a few grand without the slabbing fees :dash1:
I like to simply put my coins in 2x2's and you like them in slabs, All is GOOD.
We all collect in different ways and for different reasons and that is what makes this hobby so diverse and enjoyable .
The ONE thing we all share is "Passion", I hope none of us loose that because that is what makes us numismatics :good:

They haven't been made for about ten years but are probably the best for scanning coins and banknotes. You can occasionally pick them up for little more than postage on ebay.
I don't think there are drivers available for windows 7 O/S but they work fine under XP.

I have every 25mm al br unc dollar and all mintmarks. They are all in 2x2's in albums and I'm not even considering putting them in slabs right now. I've put that in the too hard (and expensive) basket.

I believe I have the same as you PPH, so many coins that I would really like to have slabbed.   Someone stated somewhere at $30 per coin to be slabbed.   Does include the valuation fee or not?

I have had an uneducated sqizz at the pricings and at even the economy rates plus postage both ways to the states and the  $30 per coin is pretty optimistic, In reality it would probably  be more.

As far as paying a fee to a US company for valuations of Aussie coins go , A subscription to "The Blue book" would be far more accurate and more value.

Anyway there is NO way I am breaking sets up just to get them in slabs at 10-20 at a time .
At about 3 moths a shot I would be dead and buried before I completed that task.

the classic $1 coin is the MOR's
This is a part of the RAM part of the display at the Floriade in Canberra at the moment
They have large silhouettes of the MOR's kangaroos to the rear of the each floral display in their section - I liked it (and the roasted nuts, ice cream and fairy floss - felt a bit ill when I got home!)
Some might be interested
some might day it's off topic
cheers rob

With awesome displays of tulips like that, NOTHING is off topic Mate :good:
Are the Roo's Made out of Glass?
The sheer mention of ice cream roasted  nuts and fairy floss , I have lost my appetite for dinner and just want to chew into the big block of fruit and nut chokkie the missus got me:angel:
GREAT pic's Mate :good:

Thanks for that.
I'll hunt one down and reinstate one of my old quad core XP desktop clunkers just to get the images :good:

I feel the same way as both of you, it would cost a fortune, & would be hard for me to justify the cost.
Would rather spend money on another coin or two.
