Nancy ordered 5/9 and reporting receiving some time ago.
Obviously not "first come, first served" here.

Pedro

What was in your order? May be there is an item in shortage that's holding the whole lot up.

Mine was all of the coin baggies only - $2, $1, 50c and 5c/10c/20c multipak.

Honestly it wasn't a matter of life and death so I wouldn't mind even waiting for another month, if they throw in more apology goodies. :P

JeffH

Waiting is not a big problem.
Lack of advice of delays is an issue -sure way to piss off customers. And it encourages emails and phone calls ("where are my coins?") which just takes up staff time.

Also debiting your card for the payment immediately and then nothing for seven* weeks is a good way to increase customer dissatisfaction.
*By the time my order is delivered it will be more than eight weeks. AP tracking shows postage is organised but package has not yet been lodged (presumably that will happen today).

I ordered and paid via credit card 2 lots of the round gold plated 50c and the Dirk Hartog 20c on 10/10/16 but only one of the orders is showing up in my order history on the RAM shop site.
I emailed RAM about this about 2 weeks ago and got the standard We are busy reply and as yet nothing has been done to rectify this and update my order history :dash1:

The 2016 Fine Silver set was sold out a while back but I noticed that the set is now back on the RAM site.
The set has "Allocation exhausted" in the description But can still be ordered from the shop.
I hope that they are not doing a similar thing as they have done with the HM birthday coins and increasing the 1966 mintage of these sets by stealth :dodgy:

That does seem to be very odd:-/

My order was exactly the same as yours KC. Just seems to be a bit of a lucky dip regarding delivery.

Maybe it's the 50c and 5c/10c/20c multipak that are holding things up.

I think that they had to make some more of the 50c and 5c/10c/20c multipacks  and now that the orders are finally coming through it looks like they have finally done just that.
As no more of these baggies available on the shop site it looks like that is the end of their mintage.
It will be interesting to see the final mintage figures for these coins in a couple of years :)

Quote from: 'purplepennyhunter' pid='100458' dateline='1477557999'These are back available the changeover $2 bags. I placed a few orders yesterday and the dollar bags were unavailable. Now the dollar bags are back available. That's enough to make another agro customer.

So after gentle suggestion from a forum member (thank you) I didn't sit on my hands and stew about this. I called the RAM and discussed the situation. After being told "that was the system" I asked to cancel all of my current orders. After a "quick chat" with the supervisor they caved to make me happy and placed separate orders without postage charge for all of my orders to add the dollar bags.
They implied that these circulation bags had been so much more popular with collectors than they expected and their system was flawed and they wouldn't be doing it like this next year.

With the amount of problems the Mint bags have caused RAM this year I have a suspicion that this will be the last year that they will be made available to collectors directly from the RAM Shop.
If they are still to be made in the future I would think that they will be distributed through the dealer network as the limited supply of RAM rolls are now and at a premium :(

These "baggies" were a great idea for collectors But were open to abuse by the eBay/Facebook resellers and IMHO that is why they were released separately and the limitations per order were put in place by RAM.
This worked pretty much perfectly until 5/9/16 when all of the Mint bags were made available and all 6 were available to be ordered at the same time for the one $10 shipping fee.
Within 12 hrs of the release of the last of the bags the $2 coins every denomination of the "Baggies" was listed on the RAM Shop as "Temporarily unavailable" and after that the $1 and $2 coins were the only ones available and even these had problems with availability.

My changeover baggies finally arrived this morning.
Plus a letter of apology for the undue delay and a free gift -a surplus newspaper issue 20ยข ANZACs to Afghanistan on cardboard (only single side visible).
I am underwhelmed! :mocking:
