Ron Black just delivered my box of Paralympics. They came in a plastic bag of 50, without a box, and he didn't get any 'apologies' trinkets either.

Interestingly, he says others have reported that this batch is MUCH higher quality, with one guy sending quite a few off for slabbing. I haven't looked yet, and intend doing something about PP bags for them before I open the bag, because of the half-moon plastic capsule that doesn't protect the coin.

Also, I had asked about the cards that Cotton cracked the coins for his rolls out of (which, incredibly, are just about sold out). No dice.. apparently Cotton is selling them, at quite a hefty price. Now, call me suspicious, but I can think of only one reason to pay for an empty card. I'd be REAL careful about buying any Olympic carded coins on eBay. :dodgy:

yes i noticed that he has been selling the empty booklets on request in the facebook page for a while now
people have been asking for the para and the 5 olympic coins folders
other members also respond with offers to sell the empty cards

Just received an email from the RAM. My order of changeover baggies is ready to send. So 26 October -5 September is more than seven weeks.

They need to do something and not just a management enquiry which ties up staff who would be better utilised packing and posting. Or, do they have a production issue? -seems to be an awful lot of "temporarily unavailable" items in the shop lately.

Just got mine as well, after placing the order the morning of release.

When did they start charging GST on circulating coins anyway?? $54 for $40 worth of coins is BS, IMO.

Also got an e-mail from the RAM today re my 5/9 purchase to advise that my coins were on their way. Patience is a virtue :angel:

The sales order system at the RAM has added GST in for a while but it is not actually paid. I think there was a note on the RAM website or an email sent out some time ago acknowledging that the inclusion of GST on the sales order was incorrect (still haven't fixed the error yet though).

How many times times can members here ignore the evidence re the UNC definition.

The fact that they were distributed by Woolworths does not change their official RAMINT status.

This is my third or 4th post confirming the RAMINT status of the Olympic $2 coins.

These are back available the changeover $2 bags. I placed a few orders yesterday and the dollar bags were unavailable. Now the dollar bags are back available. That's enough to make another agro customer.

I got the emails today letting me know that the mint Baggies sets are on their way.
I also ordered these 5/9/16.

I ordered all of the mint baggie on 13/09/2016 in one go. They arrived today with a letter of apology along with a Bomber Command ANZAC coin, the coin folder and a RAM magnifier.

The 50c bag has a very small tear on top. But other than that quite happy.

Looks like the RAM order system is working "well" if 13/9 orders (no offence KC!) are delivered before 5/9 orders are sent out :scratch_one-s_head:
