Quote from: 'trout' pid='101814' dateline='1479943547'I think you will find that the timing of the major influx of graded coins on the market will coincide nicely with the time that our Mr Cotton received his mass submission back from PCGS.

Did you notice that everything in a slab regardless of the grade is called FDC, What a tosser :laugh2::laugh2:

Cockatoo Coins

I'm pretty sure if you had to list 1,900 items a bit of copy and paste may go on

I think that the FDC in the listing is deliberate and NOT a mistake at all :dodgy:

There are coins as low as 64 that's listed as FDC. :dodgy:

For someone with such a large "Footprint" in the slabbed decimals market this is simply not good enough.
This Bloke is either "Clueless" or is deceptively listing these coins and I don't think he is stupid he is probably just "Ethically Challenged":laugh2:

That coin doesnt look 66 to me.

Grading looks quite generous for some other items also.

I think some of these people that do bulk submissions get a better deal just to look after them because if I submitted them there's no way the coin would grade as high

does Hong Kong PCGS grade differently?
should we be sending our stuff to Hong Kong?

trout

I have noticed that the grades from Hong Kong are extremely generous and many of these PCGS cert#'s  with the dual slab images are well overgraded.
I do remember seeing one of these with a Wedding set coin that had a MS69 grade and a dirty big scratch on the coin.
These super submissions out of Hong Kong are going to do some serious damage to PCGS's reputation and to the values of Australian Decimals as a whole .
This may also be the reason why PCGS graded coins are now not accepted in the NGC registries.

I think you have something there AJ.
When a customer repeatedly sends in submissions worth hundreds of thousands there is bound to be preferential treatment involved .
