2016 Australian Olympic Team Coin Program and partnership with Woolworths

The Paralympic Coin looks really cool. It's a ring made of multi-coloured wave stripes. Red Green Blue and Yellow.

All up there's going to be over 30 different coloured $2 types this year (inc mint marks etc).

I nearly spilt my beer when I turned the page, browsing the latest Mint Issue, and saw those. After some consideration (about ½ second) decided they are out of my price range.

Thanks for the laugh Jeff, very amusing. If I had the money I'd buy them for sure and then take them to the bank and cash them in. What an investment turning 80K into 3K or just over 2K into $30, now that would be a smart move wouldn't it  :scratch_one-s_head:
What's the go with the two prices?? Are they charging us and extra 8K, is that US dollars or something :blink:
And if I was paying 80K for a coin I'd want a lower mintage than 5, I bet they sell like hot cakes Uni will have one for sure :mocking:

Yep AJ ...... after Jeff's post I reclaimed the Mint Issue from the porch bin and will take great pride in cutting out the picture for my delusions of grandeur shopping list. I must admit though that little Uni was mentioned several times when observing the Play School 50c (not that there will be a purchase under current economic conditions, but rather, ain't that cute :laugh2: )
