Since it is manual it is just sitting in the garage for a little while till I finish learning exactly how to drive a manual :P

I hope you are not channeling out treasurer (at least I think he still is our treasurer at present)..."The poorest people either don't have cars or actually don't drive very far in many cases."

I have done work for pensioners, who request a pensioner discount, and their car, furniture, fittings etc. suggest a much more lavish lifestyle than I can afford. Certainly some pensioners do seem to be well off and some are doing it tough -the ones doing it tough, I do try to do a good deal for them.

Regardless, the car purchase does look like good value; especially if it has been well cared for and properly serviced.
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

Yep showed up on the Revs Check as well because for rego you get a discount on your renewal cost and it shows up as Pensioner registration. Really excited because it is the top model ZR rather than SX with air conditioning (which came as an option.) New this car 13 years ago would have retailed for at least $48000 so absolutely ecstatic with the purchase. :D

And Trout it is a 2002 Toyota Celica ZR 6 Speed Manual

Come on.....shift those gears! I've been driving for many-a-snow (Moons are months). My 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cars were 3 speed manual trannys. My 4th was a 4 speed shifter (manual tranny). My 5th was a 5 speed tranny....for 10 years. My present (#6) is a 6 speed manual.....for almost 6 years now. A manual tranny get approx. 10% better gas mileage than an automatic. Also, with a manual, one could start the auto without a jump if it has a dead battery.....a plus.

Unfortunately still on my L's Robbie :P but I never drive fast anywhere to be honest and am ultra conservative on the road. Unfortunately it makes some people with their full license think that they can do some really stupid stuff e.g. tailgating, overtaking (requiring me to brake hard) etc :(

Good for You Mate, I was just joking about the "Drifting" :diablo::angel:
Nothing wrong with "Driving to Conditions" and being Careful on the road :good:

That is a really nice car and it would be criminal to dent it.
You will be on your "P's" in no time flat mate and cruising around on the Weekend will be rather enjoyable in that Rig :yahoo:
