I managed to get my hands on $100 of 20¢ and turned up four Centenary of Federation in quite good condition.
And six New Zealand in poor condition!

Good find, local TAB manager saves them for me,got about a dozen 20/50c CoF Coins about a couple a weeks ago just before he shut up shop.
They seem to be around in circulation again but the Ebay feeding frenzy is long gone but i still collect them.

Originally saved this 2001 5c as there was a cud under the Queen's lip. However, on re-visiting the coin yesterday I found I had missed the die cracking  .

Very nice Pedro! I never noodle 5c (too fumble fingered and clumsy for the effort) ..... but that is a great die crack! :good:

Pedro

Thanks Uni. I don't normally noodle the 5c either but I had a couple of years I was missing so needs must!

Nice one.

5c can be a bit fiddly, but can also be rewarding.

I think I have exhausted my supply of 5c (phew). On to something a little larger!

Did you find any Rim Cuds? They happen a fair bit in the 5c's.

Nil, nought, nothing as far as rim cuds go Nancy (probably just means I overlooked them :laugh2: ).

I went to the bank yesterday and returned $300 of 50¢ noodled coins I had been sitting on; also $100 in various denominations -discards from previous noodling and accumulated change.
I now have $300 of 50¢ and $100 of $1 coins for some weekend noodling.
Many of the discards were not so good condition;
•2004 bighead/pointy A 20¢
•2008 wave gap 20¢
•2005 foot cud 50¢
•2007 reverse doubling 50¢
•rabbit ears $1, lots of 1994 and 1998 in particular
•the scarcer varieties of other various coins that have two varieties
•"better" condition of low mintage years of various coins -just kept some of the ones that were genuinely aUNC and up.
It's amazing how many "keepers" I had that were not really worth keeping.

That is a very well centred one. Lucky you.
