NAB here get armaguard rolls and they get heaps of world coins in them and all denomination but the ANZ get them from another lot and I haven't found any foreign coins in any of their rolls yet.

I've got two, one's 320°, the other's 330° and yours is a bit more so I'd estimate 335-340°, just a rough guess though.

Thanks, Nevol. That was my guess as well. When I hold the queen's portrait upright and flip the coin, the portrait of Sir Henry Parkes is almost at a 45° angle, which looks rather creepy to me. My mind keeps telling me that this can't be happening, but I've done it so many times now that I know I'm not imagining it. :)

Where did you get them from? Bags or rolls? Chubb, Armaguard or Prosegur?

Rolls which I'm pretty sure were Armaguard.

Nevol

Herc, I copied your $1 Parkes images and this is the result.

I believe the upset degrees are calculated clockwise, well that's how I've done it anyway.  If you want it CCW, then it's 24°.

I also put a copy of it in the Decimal Upset thread:

Hercules $1 Parkes Rotated 336°

Thanks, Nevol. Just keep in mind that there's probably a few degrees worth of error in that amount, due to the fact that I had to flip it over manually. I really ought to put it in a 2x2, but I don't have any on hand at the moment because I store most of my coins in food-grade plastic bags. I don't know which chemicals these bags contain, but I've been using them for over 15 years and never had a problem with them, so I assume they must be safe. :)

You can always put a rubber band around them just to take a quick pic then get the band off quick smart ;)

Here are some of my latest finds:

2016 Standard $1: Notice the cud inside the second kangaroo's neck

2010 Standard 20c: My first bubble for the year

Pedro

Nice work Hercules. Those 2010 bubble 20c are pretty rare south of the border.

I'll have to find my coins and see how many of these bubbles I have because from my poor memory I have a few, but then you are a lot further south of the border then me Pedro :)

Yep, I haven't found any in the "deep" South AJ . I had to import some from the north.

As we age we lose three things, one is our memory and arrrrr I've forgotten the other two!

Some newies and/or extensions of previous finds:

1999 20c - cud at top of the Queen's neck (along with doubling on the Queen's head). Haven't seen a cud in that spot before.

1978 50c - cud underneath the bottom left hand side of the shield. Again, nothing found like this for earlier 50c years.

1984 $1 - start of a spew roo.

2016 $1 - start of rabbit ear on top kangaroo and splash cuds on the 2nd kangaroo.

And on the same coin. Potentially another version of a spew roo if the die degraded further. Other cuds on the 3rd kangaroo have previously been further across the back to the right.
