Noodling finds

my newest find was today ,

 1 x 2016 Anzac dollar , my first one.
 1 x outback dollar , from some ones collection .
        because it is brand new .

 I am happy with that ..

today,s find 4 x 2016 dollars and 2 more 2016 x 5 cent coins
 and dawn got a $ 2.00 2016 .

 so we had a great day noodling  ..

Not a coin, but I got a 2015 $10 note the other week, and a $5 note with prefix EI 95 on the weekend (not worth keeping unfortunately).

Just had a skim over $200 50c, $300 $1. So far only thing worth keeping has been the well known cud on the priest/chaplains robe thingy 2005 50c.

today I went through my change and found 2016 dated 2x .20 c , 1 x 1 dollar 1 x .10 cents and2 x .5 cents and my bottle revealed about 6
 x .5 cents with a bad stamped S D , or no S D  but it could be my eyes , I cant seem to get a better picture .

Kel, I can see the SD on all these coins. A bit 'mushed', but still there.

It looks like the die may have been damaged in that particular spot for the SD on so many coins to look the way they do.

I though the same Nancy , but that is the closes that I can magnify them , my machine cant get it any closer look at them .
I thought there was something wrong with them , as it was not a clear  S D  . thanks for your answer .

My noodling of 1500 x $1 coins, 800 x $0.50c, and 1100 x $0.20c pieces over two days gave me:

2 x 2016 $1.00 cuds;
1 x 2000 $0.50 Incuse;
2 x 1993 $0.50 pieces;
1 x 1988 $1.00 in mint condition (A/UNC);
1 x 1999 $1.00 Last ANZAC (C) Mint Mark;
1 x 2016 $1.00 Roo Spew Roo;
1 x 2008 $1.00 Large Rabbit Ear;
1 x 2010 $1.00 Mini Rabbit Ear.

Not much there but at least I am still finding a few things.

Finding an incused in $1500 is good. Average for those now is much more than one in 1500.

A few oddities from a recent noodle.

2005 50c (Comm Games) - the longest cud/s on the top of the Queen's head I have seen.



2008 50c - common enough to have the doubling on the top of the shield but I can't recall seeing the additional bumps before.



1985 $1- this one looks to have a crack running down the Queen's nose?





2011 $1 MOR - the start of rabbit ears on the 2nd kangaroo that I have never found!

This one turned up yesterday. Extremely scarce year from circulation -in fact I have found more 1966 'Wavy 2' 20¢ than I have found 1985.
Either the stated mintage (RAM says 2.7M) is wrong or only a very small proportion of those minted were actually sent to circulation.

1988 is even harder to find. I have only ever noodled one of those.
