Nice work Kel! :good: Those 2015 Anzacs are hard to come by it seems. I finally managed to get a 2015 spew roo the other day which was a first for me.

You're doing well. I just can't seem to find any of these, which is ironic because I've found just about everything else except the wavy.

Thanks for the nice words and I am still to find a Wavy.

Couple of new errors for me:

2011 50c cud underneath the kangaroo's paw

2016 50c (standard) - doubling on the back of the Queen's hair

Also managed to pick up a 2009 poo roo and a 1992 Barcelona $1.

Found this today. What kind of error is this and is it collectible or common?

Mister T

Not sure - off centre strike with rim cuds?

I bet this is a $2 coin.  What the image shows is very common on 1999 $2.  I've had dozens of them and have tossed most back into the pond.

I don't think that they are worth more than $2 each, so keep a couple just for the heck of it.

I've seen similar coins on CCF described as 'rim fin' coins, where the fin has folded over from wear & tear.

I'm not well enough informed on the minting processes to know if there would be that many fins on one coin though. :scratch_one-s_head:

I'd welcome any other ideas on what causes these anomalies.

Pedro, that 2011 is unusual. :good: I don't think I've seen a cud under the paw before. Good timing as I'm doing a cull at the moment and after 2012 my 2011's were the next in the queue!

Pedro

Yes Uni, it's the only one I have where the cud is under the paw (none for any other year).

You must be a magnet for those Kel.
I have been in Brisbane the last few days and didn't even get a 2015 $1 in change; let alone a spew roo.

We did get our three iced coffees and cookies at a waterfront cafe on Bribie Island. Only took an hour and several complaints. The two ladies at the table next to us asked for their money back and promptly departed. Another table of people on leaving wished the couple at the table the other side of us "good luck". And the lady with a small child in a pram, waited for her takeaway coffees for about forty minutes before just walking away.
That is definitely a business that deserves the Fulvio embargo option.
Oh, nearly forgot, the choc chip cookies never arrived and we received ginger cookies -they weren't bad but we looked in the display case on the way out and there were plenty of choc chip cookies!
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.
