Paddy goes to the doctor complaining of an irritation down where the sun don't shine.

The doc has a look and finds a $20 note partly poking out, so he removes it.

With that another appears, so he removes it as well, then another and another and so on.

When finally the notes stop appearing, the doc does a count and informs Paddy he has extracted just on $1980.

Paddy says that explains it then, I sure wasn't feeling too grand.

Scotland is breaking from the United kingdom, subject to the vote next week.
It will drift north (along with the North sea oil reserves) until it joins with Iceland to form a new union "Scotch on the Rocks".

As an aside, last time I was in the UK I had some Scottish banknotes in my wallet, as well as English notes. English shopkeepers would not accept the Scottish notes but, north of the border, they were happy to take either -pragmatic people the Scots.

A senior couple decided to go shopping one day, and split their efforts by going separate ways.

Near the end of the shopping event they decided to get together for lunch.

As the woman was on her way to the rendezvous point, she heard a traffic warning on the radio that a car was driving in the wrong direction up ahead.

Knowing that her husband was near the point of the warning, she decided to call him on the cell phone.

When he answered, she explained, "I just heard on the news, someone is driving in the wrong direction on the highway!"

And the husband replied, "Only one? There's hundreds of folks going the wrong way where I am!"

Three guys go in for a job interview, all at the same office.
The first one goes in for his interview and the interviewer says, "What's the first thing you see when you look at me?"
The guy says, "That's not too hard, you've got no ears."
The interviewer says, "That's it, get out, you'll never be seen around here again."

The second man takes his turn and is asked the same question.
The applicant replies, "Uh, you've got no ears."
The interviewer throws the guy out, cursing and yelling that he'll never get a job with his company.

As he is leaving, the second guy warns the third guy, "Listen man, whatever you do, don't say he hasn't got any ears. He's so touchy with the ear thing." "Okay," said man #3 on his way into the office.

Once inside he is told, "Name the first thing you notice when you look at me." The guy answers, "That's easy, you wear contacts."
The interviewer was flabbergasted, "How on earth did you know that, son?" "What? Are you stupid? You can't wear glasses, you've got no ears!"
