I finally found a 1938 raw that I could get into a ms slab. got this back at ms62, bought from a coin dealer at the perth show as a aXf. funny thing is he had a aUnc that was polished to hell but the tone on this coin confused him I think. looks flashy in hand and is now in my set

Lovely looking 1910 Florin r9453, many AU55-58 coins look so much nicer that the low MS coins.

No, not my submission but the cert number indicates it was recent.

I agree some MS62 look a bit beaten up, whereas all three of my recent AU florins have only slight wear and almost no dings.

EDIT: I need to take a leaf out of the serial book and keep an eye out for cwos.
