This would have to be one of the lowest mintage 25mm Silver proofs and probably the most expensive issue price.

Yes the toning is different on that one RG :good: Be really nice if the pretty blue went all the way around it.

The Stirling Silver coins tend to tone up nicely But the 50% coins don't seem to get much in the way of attractive toning.

I have a florin that one of the guys at work found in his change up in Paraburdoo a while back.
I will have to hunt it down as I have lost the images I took of it when my last laptop bit the dust.
I named it "Butt Ugly"

i use bi-carb soda on my scan pans when the surface is too gortty
maybe just soaking it in something like that aj - i also boil it upa bit along with a scrub
another soak that  also use a thick layer of salt then some hot water
might kill any germs as well

Not sure where it's been but I dug it up many many moons ago but from memory it wasn't near a septic.
