You do realise most of the forum has these, and most of the others as well, right? Heck, for the right money, even *I* might be tempted to let go of one... :)
Obviously the Trout dosn't.

Do you have any MYO's?
I can search my stash for ya. There was a time before they switched to ANDA shows when I would get 100 of each. I also swapped large numbers with other forum members, as did other people.

I have no doubt we can get you off to a flying start. Its just a question of how much people are prepared to accept for them. But it would be less painful here than on the open market, I'm sure.

I just did an ebay search for '2004 eureka' and out of the 50 or so results, I don't think any were MYO. There was one with no mintmark for $5.5k.

Yeah, but he doesn't do errors.

I'd put the E in the same price range as a G. Last time I checked, years ago they were pushing $50. Most others should be available around the $15-20 range I would think, with some exceptions of course.

Yes that's right. I was thinking it might roughly correlate to accumulator's  rotated 2013 'B'?

I recon you would be spot on with that assumption :good:

Looks like you've got a job ahead of you Trout, good luck !

Fulvio, while you're busy looking into Trout's list, just a quick query. Back a few weeks you mentioned looking for rotated Year of the Outback $1s.

Did you ever find one?

You have to love a challenge, It makes Victory taste SOOO much sweeter :yahoo:
BTW I truly hope you do well with that 90 degree rotated mintmark, It couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.

I'm still trying to get my head around the difference between the MYOs and the 'heavies' as Fulvio referred to them. Here's my 2004 Eureka 'M' (sorry just could not capture a decent image so scanned it instead):

Originally, I thought this was a counterstamp, I think Fulvio called it an overstamp, which would be the same thing?

Now, I assume this is not a MYO since I only paid $3.25 for it at a dealer. Therefor its not a c/stamp but was made at the RAM from a specially prepared die and in fact its a mintmark?

Has anyone got a side by side picture of an MYO and its heavy brother?

I have found that the more you get "into" these coins the more you have to learn.
That is a GOOD thing IMHO. It makes the experience far more interesting :yahoo:

:i_agree:

I think a lot of my misconception was based on this:

I assumed this applied in regard to the MYOs and the heavy dudes. But in fact it only applies from more recently, say 2008? Before that its a different story?

Edit: This was the only 2005 Gallipoli MYO at Ebay I was hoping the difference would be obvious. :dash1:
