I now (finally, Fiji Time*) have an order form for the Fiji Sevens 50¢ coin and $10 note.
Prices are;
• $7 uncirculated single note in folder @ $F30.00 each.
• 50 cent in uncirculated condition packed in a capsule @ $F3.00 each.
• 32 X $7 notes in one uncut sheet @ $F777 each. I might give those a miss.
"Please kindly note that we do  not sell the $7 or 50 cents banknote and coins in loose pieces.
The above pricing excludes postage which will be determined once order has been confirmed."

I will give a few days before submitting an order so anyone interested can let me know to add to the order. Fiji Post rates to Australia are much more reasonable the the reverse. If postage looks too steep I will get them sent to a local friend and pick them up when I am there later this year.

*FIJI TIME
It will happen when it happens, sooner or later. And if it doesn't happen it probably wasn't important anyway.
Type A personalities find it infuriating -most people adjust to Fiji Time within a few hours but some can take as long as  two days.

Thanks Jeff.
I'll take at least 6 of the 50c please,
but make it 10 if you can get them.
Cheers.

Two of the 50c will do me thanks, but do you know what the minimum or maximum
order is?

Only mention of quantities is "Both the note and coin have been printed and minted in limited quantities with a small quantity set aside for numismatic sales and collectors" which is rather vague. I will just order what is requested and see what eventuates.

In for two 50c coins and a $7 note if you can get them.

Thanks.
There\'s no such thing as too much Borobi!

Same as seedyrom if you can please jeffh

2 x 50c coins and a $7 note.

JeffH

I forgot to mention the exchange rate.
presently a 50¢ coin at FJD$3 is AUD$2.08 and a $7 note you should be able to easily work out yourself.

Just as a matter of interest I did a check on postage.
Fiji post quoted FJD$31.50 for a 1kg, airmail parcel, registered with $200 insurance. That is a little under AUD$22.
Australia Post (the nearest, nearly equivalent I could find) quoted $48.10 for 1kg, economy air, $200 cover and signature on delivery.
I haven't checked it but I suspect I would be lucky to get change from $20 to post a similar parcel to Triggersmob!

1kg parcel with $200 extra cover to me would cost you $21.25

OK last call. I will be submitting an order soon so better let me know quickly if you want a Fiji Sevens 50¢ coin and/or $7 note.

I'm tempted to buy a few notes, because I can't believe that anyone had the gall to actually print them. How much longer do I have to make up my mind? :)

About 12 hours.

I've been a bit spendthrift with coins recently, so I'm going to keep it simple and order only one 50c coin and one $7 note. Otherwise, I'll just get sick of them, like I am with the new $2 coin. Many thanks. :)

JeffH

Noted.

QuoteI've been a bit spendthrift with coins recently
That probably applies to a majority of forum members.

If you take the quoted price (in Fijiian dollars) as being the landed in Australia price (in Australian dollars) then that would be a reasonable guestimate of cost. Plus postage within Australia would be at letter rates -from $1 to $5 depending on quantity.

Thanks, Jeff. I'll keep that in mind.

I was originally going to get 2 or 3 notes, but when I realised they were $F30 each, I changed my mind, and decided to get only one. I'm not particularly interested in the coin, but if I'm going to be shelling out $F30 for the note, I must as well pay a little bit extra to get the coin as well. That way, I'll have a complete set. :)

Can I order 4 of the coins? I'll skip the notes. Thanks heaps Jeff!
