Hi Folks,

Could you please provide your opinion on grade for my latest 1914 1S? I wanted to see if this would crossover to PCGS. Hence the question.

Thanks in advance.

It is in a NGC holder ....

I hope I am wrong but there looks to be some rub/wear on the reverse and obverse and the lustre doesn't appear to be full .
AU58.

The coin only has some very minor hits on it and it is a Beut looking Shilling So if there is NO wear then it would have to be a 64 But my first instinct was AU58 so I will have to stick with that

AU58  to MS64 is not unheard of for a grading company as Echidna can attest

Many AU58 coins are actually better looking coins than their MS60-63 counterparts :good:

It can be handy to under grade sometimes in order not to overspend

In this case there is a 5k difference between AU58 and MS64

I'm thinking maybe MS62 due to a few bag marks.

Okay Folks, coin is in a NGC MS64 holder... if it comes back MS63 I would be happy... Thanks for your options.

Pretty high chance of that MS63 as PCGS seem to grade a grade lower for some reason but then you might be lucky and get the same grade, either way I'd still like to have it in my collection AP :winkextra:
