Thankyou one and all.

I do have a couple of $1 coins and 1 x $2 coin that have been clipped.

All taken from circulation.

Nice find Goldie. 50c Clips are few and far between. :yahoo:

[Ozcoins]

Looks good to me too Goldie!

Yes they are.
I have only ever found one.

[mkonst]

Noodled a 50th anniversary of decimal currency $1 coin yesterday, in $200 worth. So they are out there.

Also got 3 of the 2017 100 years of ANZAC $1's, which I am putting aside for now as the mintage of these is not known.

[rollycoins]

Great finds mate! Which state are you based? I know SA was the one where quite a few popped up before.

[mkonst]

Thanks.

I'm in NSW, western Sydney to be more accurate.

[Pedro]

The wife handed over a 2016 changeover $1, a 2017 $1 MOR and a 2017 $2 (elder) from her purse today.

Very nice! Strange how the 2016 changeover is suddenly popping up!

[LooseChange]

I like the clipped coins.. something i am always looking out for.. my father had a clipped 10c when i was a kid.. that he found in change.. he wasnt interested in coins really. But was just one of those odd things you hang onto.

[Mister T]

From $20 of 10c pieces I got a 2017 American quarter (George Rogers Clark).

Went through $60 worth of 50c pieces - a 2000 Royal Visit and 1991 Decimal Currency Anniversary were the only interesting ones but I threw them back.
