oh my florin

First thing I thought was it doesn't look like a clip? Guessing pinched planchet or some other mint anomaly. Especially with the I distinct strike exactly opposite on the rims.

'Q' variety , nice VF with a little bit of + (solid VF)
end of bar error - the planchet is punched near the end of the coining sheet roll and sits close to or on  the edge that is not as thick as the rest of the bar

ausjack

for a silver collector you sure are coming up with some nice coppers mate, well done :good:

This coin came from an impeccable source , So yes it is a genuine clip :dance2::)
Hopefully PCGS will attribute it as such when I send it away, I may even specify it as the "Q" type as well  :ok:

I think it will get a VF35 as a grade and hopefully they will attribute it as a "Q" type Clipped :ok:

I wouldn't put that coin into a slab
it has little snippets of corrosion that will require attention over the next few years

I would think the new air tight slabs will stop any further corrosion :good:

I think you are right on the money with your grading AJ.  It's VF to gVF which in the PCGS world is usually about AU50/AU53.

I would need to go as an error submission.  If you sent it as a normal submission they'd no grade it.

Definitely a clipped planchet.  RG probably right about end of bar too.

Would I have to send the coin on its own as an error submission or can I tag it along with a normal world economy submission ?
I got my broken "N" coins attributed by putting the description on the submission page and I am wondering if I could do the same with the clipped coin.
