Just starting in on another batch of florins and found this 54 commemorative with a few planchet flaws on the obverse.

I am still "Noodling" through about 4kg of bullion florins.
So far I have found the laminated 1954 coin and have separated about a dozen baggy uncirculated 54's.
I got 15 round 50c coins with this batch and most of them show feint double bars.

Ok here's a few of my more recent finds, a few cuds on the one coin, look at the roo and the long jumper's head.

now here's two pic's just different angles, think it might be a coldshut but a decent size for a change :)
one between the swimmer and long jumper

and one from the long jumpers arm to his feet

and lucky last, don't want to give all my secrets away for Uni :mocking:
a nice little 2004 die crack

Lovely work AJ! Great die crack.

Do you think the second one might be a strike through oil/grease?

One for you to ponder ......

ausjack

Yes it could well be Uni, hard to tell coldshut or oil fill sometimes. That's a nice fill mate :good:

Looks like the press ran out of "Puff" on that one Uni .

A couple of recent finds:

2012 50c - there have been a number of coins with many cuds scattered around the reverse design but this one I think has the most that I have seen. Here's some sample sections of the coin.

I don't have any others where there is such a large cud next to the 5.

2014 $1 ANZAC - cuds/fills in the corners of the "A"s and "Z".

Have picked up a 1985 50c in each of my last two noodles so very happy with that. :yahoo:

Well done Pedro :good: they just keep coming don't they :winkextra:
