I am starting to collect these coins, I can't be the only one doing this .
So drag em out and take a few images and "Share" :)

A couple of sets I picked up from the post office yesterday.

Yes the 3d and 1d coins are rather nice :)

I couldn't help myself and bought this set.
Scanned images so I have NO idea of the quality of the lustre but I don't have a young head Victoria set yet.

yep - the Maundy bug has bitten you
they are beautiful coins and to know that they have been held by the same hands of the depicted king/s and queen/s makes them even more spectacular

Has someone got/found what the minting numbers are of all the Maundy Sets?

I thought that for each year there were as many sets given away to a commoner who is the same  age of the monarch

so if the Queen was 89 then 89 people who are the same age are given a set at a special presentation
usually commoners to my understanding
if queenie was 45 then 45 people who are 45 years old are given a set

I understand it was under the alms for the poor

The mintage figures are available via the PCGS population reports on their site.
The mintage figures  are interesting because they not only vary between sets they also vary between denomination, here are a couple of examples;

1983 Maundy coins
1d  = 12,000
2d =  7,232
3d =  4,488
4d =  4,158

1902 Maundy coins
1d =  21,000
2d =  14,000
3d =  8,976
4d =  10,000

in one of the links that I put up it aid that they used to give to the previous Maundy recipient each year then add on the new ones the following year, so that could add up but they don't do that anymore

oh my florin

Nice trout. The Maundy coins seem to be very beautifully toned in general (due to the velvet bag or box they are kept in?) Otherwise keep an eye out at Heritage and you can find some really nicely toned coins in general.
