A Platypus is a duck designed by a committee ( anon)

As Nancy said, it's a medallion, from another coin forum. :)

Country? I get the feel of "Egypt" seeing that.
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

It's a medallion Jeff, so it's does not belong to any particular country,
although the coin forum does have an Egyptian member. :)
It was minted in the U.S.A. by Daniel Carr from the Moonlight Mint.

The antique finish helps the look.
Check my gallery to see the non-antique finish copper, the silver and pewter versions.

lovely indeed

I realise that I have no kitty coins, no animal coin collections
maybe one coin with a horse - the old rocking horse St George

one with 2 birds
one with a shell

and that is about it!!

I obviously like leaves and kangaroos & shields

You need to get out more. LOL
