"Sham Silver Saturday"?
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

It must just about be Saturday somewhere in the world, so here is my latest addition. A Booker T. Washington half dollar from the U.S.
Many thanks to Goose for this coin. :)

I agree with trout, wish a photo could really capture the colours of silver when it is beautifully toned... Here is my contribution for Silver Saturday:

A bit of mucking about with lighting and angles and sometimes you have success :)

What a stunner!
Be careful publishing pictures of such pretty coins trout.
Don't want the RAM getting ideas and trying to duplicate them with a pad printed effort. [They will stop at nothing, you know, if they think it will turn a buck.]

Friday night is almost Saturday, right?

Wow you got the colours working on that florin trout.

I just got my first crown, something Ive waited a long time for. What do you think? Still has a bit of cartwheel lustre, and all detail is sharp. Unfortunately (though I dont mind) the king has extra eyebrows. They are not three little scratches, they are rim marks ---|__|--|__|--|__|---, I guess probably from another crown at the time of minting as the big heavy coins fell together. In any case they match my well-developed mono-brow :-)

Think EF?
