Agree, wonderful images Mark, very hard to pick a favourite.

Some nice die cracks on this 27, through ALIA and star to N, die crack through shield and some fishtailing to PARLIA.

Fine Die crack through lion's rear leg and up through the tail below AUS.

Stored in a paper envelope for 50+ years.
Usual result of heavy toning and friction.
Obverse is actually darker than the image.

Would that '24 shilling be able to be graded or would PCGS reject it for surface issues?

trout

This a rather nice Silver coin, 2014 silver proof 25mm MOR.

I suspect it would get bodybagged as environmental damage.
Reverse is attractive and prooflike so much better keeping as a raw coin.

I sent the original coins that came with this case  to PCGS to see how they grade.
It seemed a shame to waste such a nice case so I filled it with 1998 Masterpieces in silver coins.

also got a little bit of silver at the markets so all threepence, so upgrade for my 1910

thought I might have gone a little hard with those few little scuffs and a few I couldn't tell if it was on the slab or on the coin but like you said a very nice coin :good:
