I am no silvers expert but it doesn't look GEM to me
better to make your own judgement when viewing and bidding

By unc/gem they may mean the obverse as unc, the reverse gem.
The coin would have graded MS63 by the obverse. The reverse does look prettier than that.
Personally I do not like split grades as they can mislead.

Die cracks are acceptable for gem grade.
So called FDC is a different matter.

Serial, a nice interesting coin, but well what is it?
After seeing Nancy's coin, I was looking for a 7/6 overdate as clear as hers.

Unsuccessful. The best I could find was my US 1887/6 Morgan dollar.




Definitely a 7 over 6 but only a trace of the lower part of the 6 remains.
