I can't make out the surface detail or the quality of the lustre from these.
Nice looking coin Mate :good:

Sellers images so not sure but it will be off to the plastics factory on my last PCGS run for this financial year

IMHO the feathers of the emu look touched off, as do the edges on the badges down  the left side of the shield, and some marks in both fields. The high points of the Kings regalia look to be just touched off if at all, and the band looks untouched. There also appears to be some small hits to the rim of the obverse. For what it's worth, a split grade anywhere between aU and gEF, say AU58. I'm no expert, but I've seen the odd PCGS grade of MS 61 - 62 on similar coins.

A very comprehensive description Peter and going by the obverse which has no wear from what I can see I'm hoping the reverse is a weak strike enabling an MS62 grade.Time will tell

I think it could get 62 but I am no way an expert on this type of coin

I am no expert but I will have a crack at AU58, not sure if its clean enough for MS61

Just parcelled up my 6th submission since I got out of hospital,
154 coins in all.
Lucky I am unable to go fishing with my gimpy arm so I have saved a few quid by not doing that cos this lot is going to cost a few quid to get done :dash1:
That will do me for now
The first one got there 2/6/15 so I should have some results in a couple of weeks and more over the following 2 weeks :)
I won't get the results from this last one for 6-8 weeks.

In my opinion it should grade AU55 the emu is a little too touched off as well as the grass around the kangaroo for a 58. The obverse has a little wear on the regalia and a few marks on the bust.

I was wondering, are all the coins being graded now going to be housed in the new fully sealed slabs?

We sent a couple of coins back for reholdering (separate submissions). Got an old holder back 2 weeks ago and our first new holder last week.

One thing I have noticed is that when PCGS first advertised this new holder they had one sitting in a fish tank and I'm sure it was advertised as airtight. Now the website says "virtually airtight".

Edit: Answered my own question -here is the fish tank

I have nearly 200 coins in the system at the moment and am hoping for the new slabs.

They advertised it as watertight as such the slab in the fish tank however that doesn't necessarily mean it is airtight, as although particles of water are too big for the acrylic matrix, air particles are substantially smaller and as such small enough to fit through. Short way to remember it is if it is airtight it is watertight however if it is watertight it may not be airtight.

Correction: They state that the new welding technique is airtight (over the short term while the air particles pass through the acrylic)

Happy to be wrong tho

I put 7 submissions together over the last month and the last of these has finally arrived at Newport Beach.
I got a little bit "Angsty" waiting for some of the submissions to arrive because NONE of my tracking numbers showed any results in transit.
Very relived when they all showed up at the other end :yahoo:

Now starts the waiting game whilst they grade 183 coins for me.
I don't know about you guys but for me there is a sense of excitement waiting for the results.
I have had hundreds of coins graded since 2013 and the anticipation awaiting the grades is always there for me

There seems to be a lot of PCGS Graded and slabbed coins turning up on ebay.

On seller appears to selling hundreds of coins at the same time.

Is she trusted seller or not.

I think the PCGS grader was pretty "harsh" on this one :cray"
