I was at the back of the line when they were handing Fear out, I missed out on my full quota

The band on the crown has me a bit concerned But It doesn't look like wear on my screen.
Far better than any example I have in my collection.
Nice coin Mate :yahoo:

nit a silvers guru but I would think it is in the choice uncirculated and I'd be suggesting either ms 64 + or ms 65
it has proof like fields to me and there is a bit of cabinet friction on the obverse but overall beautifully struck coin (to me)

Excellent work guys...

Why do you think it's an AU58 ? Very interested to know..

Thanks echidna !

That was my first thought as well, too much wear on the obverse high points for an MS holder. That being said PCGS often allows coins with slight wear into MS holders when the surfaces are good enough, the reverse surfaces certainly are.

trout

I am NOT certain here But I am thinking you have done the PCGS restoration here with this coin (PVC Damage) , I'm sticking with my MS63 regardless :ok:

Reverse is UNC.
But too much chatter on the obverse for MS.
Eye appeal is strong therefore they will grade it 58.

Excellent call there Echidna ... It's an AU58... Crossed over form a NGC MS62...

Thanks for the feedback !

I am not happy with the result... However that's what it is ...

Hahaha... Moral of the story is unless you are 110% sure you have to be carful buying coins off an image on the net :wavemulticolor:

I think 58 is a bit harsh, I looked at a few others to come to 61, that is usually in line with an ngc 62
maybe someone was having a bad day
