I think that coin looks MS64.. I have a 1921, very nice tone, may be I might get it graded.. it will be an AU 58..

It does have a few flat points AP like 6 beads and the star looks a bit flat but maybe should have got a higher grade, are these know to have a weak strike as that might explain it.

Yes sometimes it's hard to see how they come up with their grades, must be like buying a car and you don't want a monday or friday one :winkextra:

Buy the coin not the holder? This statement is usually made in reference to over-grading. In this case its under-graded. Either way its cold comfort, I'm sure.

The general appearance is good. Please show us a few of the better ones when you have sorted them. And, any strong double bars.
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

Was thinking of getting this one regraded but would be interested in opinions as to
what it might achieve

Yes it is but looking at it in hand I thought it might have a good
chance at an upgrade

May be worth a shot, I saw some marks on kings face and emu's feathers... hence the MS63 grade... I spoke to Eric yesterday, he has a special going on with grading at the moment so might as well get it done...
