Can anyone remember the Scrooge McDuck comic (maybe late 60's early 70's) where Scrooge wanted to have the rarest coin? (From memory a dime). So he got every coin of that particular year and dropped all except one out of a plane into the ocean. As he walked down the street flipping his one of a kind, it fell and was run over by a steamroller. He, Donald along with Huey, Duey and Louie then had to dive in the ocean to get one. In doing that, they discovered Atlantis and the inhabitants that had learnt how to breath under water. Kinda sticks in my head that one.

Don't recall that comic, but I do vaguely remember a movie where the guy got all of a rare stamp, and burnt them all but one for similar reasons.
