I found another of the newspaper 20¢ coins yesterday. So far that is ten of those coins and seven different reverses.
I expected that the first, free one would be the most likely to turn up in circulation but that hadn't been the case.

Today it was a Borobi $2. Obviously a random recipient at Woolworths was not interested.

I have never found a 1972 5c in the wild.
Fortunately though, I was given one.

I found a very nice 2001 Norfolk Island 50c today, in the till at work.

Yes, the occasional good Centenary of Federation coin pops up; but not often now.

I found a 1972 5¢ a few year back and since then nothing until now -and then two within a few weeks! (Not very good condition but a very low mintage year is a nice find anyway.)
So don't stop looking.

Not my change, but a family member's - not one, not two, but three 2017 newspaper 20c pieces.
I've been keeping an eye for one of these ANZAC coins busted out of their packaging for some time now (I don't desperately want one but expected it as some NCLT in change) and got more than I expected.

Yep, I was happy Uni.

I have struggled to find the coloured $2s in change although my kids have wangled a few over time.

I did the return & earn number last week (or perhaps it was the one before, my memory fails me ....... constantly) and in my refund docket change at Woollies I got 2 of the national emblem ones, so I was pretty chuffed!
