Hi guys, don't know what is going on with these limited 2015 $1 coins from Downies
I rang them today 5/6/15 and was told NO coins had been acquired yet, So no one would
be getting any coins at the moment.
So I wonder where the Members on the Forum are getting their coins from ?

Australian Decimal NCLT / RE: Lack of input from new bees
December 19, 2014, 05:53:15 PM
On occasions I have questions that I would have put on the forum, Once or twice I have put questions on forums and have only had Negative or smart ass remarks by members that think they are so more Educated in the coin field that Questions by 'new bee's are something to make fun of or treat as a waste of time Than to give helpful aid. I'm sure many others out there have the same opinion as me. Moderators should remind these ''clever'' people that we all had to start some where.
I await the great educated out there to mock me for bad spelling, grammer and for having the ordacity to make such remarks, Sorry but true.  tezza

Well I don't know a lot about the way this type of thing happens, But I like to collect mistruck coins and was hoping this coin would get a mention here. I have many mint error coins, and after studying this coin, and taking the comments here into consideration, I definitely would not bid on this coin, way to many unexplained theories.

strange indeed, first coin I have seen with that type of rim, mint damage
#8
looks like it doesn't belong, to me the style of the box is wrong

the early minted decimal coins are in abundance here in Tassie, not hard to find these coins.

Re Trouts generous offer of coin, I am a regular reader of this forum and have been for a few years. I get great enjoyment from reading the topics and advice given by experienced coin collectors and to be honest as I am not a quick learner at this stage I don't think I would have anything of interest to contribute to experienced posts. I am sorry that my inability to be a regular poster will affect the generosity of members. this may not be written in the proper manner and for that I an sorry. tezza

Quote from: 'trout' pid='62169' dateline='1415590417'I have 10 of these sitting around doing nothing so if you haven't got one yet put your name up and message me you postal details.
The chances of finding one of these in you change are pretty dismal considering the way they were distributed and hoarded.
These are leftovers from a roll I bought and I would rather share them than flog em on eBay :)

First 10 names on the list gets them :ok:

one gone already only 9 left :)
Hi Trout, how much do you want for a 2014 mor coin Thanks Terry      terrytrish4@bigpond.com

I find it hard when reading these forums to find many ''informative'' answers, most replies/comments
seem to be from people who make sarcastic remarks, and after about 3 replies the subject nearly
always changes for some reason to a completely different subject.

:angel:This is not quite on track with topic, But can some-one please tell
me how many Circulation 2013 $2 poppy coins were minted. It was said by Mint that a
Minimum of 5 Million were being Minted, Were more than that number minted, Helpful
answers would be , greatly appreciated, Cheers tezza
