Hi guys, don't know what is going on with these limited 2015 $1 coins from Downies
I rang them today 5/6/15 and was told NO coins had been acquired yet, So no one would
be getting any coins at the moment.
So I wonder where the Members on the Forum are getting their coins from ?

Splock

I popped in to the Melbourne store in Southgate and picked my two up today and they did mention they had a few to spare, but they're likely to go quick.

I received my two from Dowinies last Tuesday via mail.

Downies took orders many weeks ago for these coins.

They only received 175 for the Melbourne Store so they went to fill orders.

Maximum two per person/household as they did not know how many they would receive, if any at all.

I recon Downies did pretty well by us securing these at a reasonable price, they did the same with the 2014 silver proof 25mm 1 dollar if my recollection is correct, Good on em :yahoo::good:

I subscribed to The Daily Telegraph 1st April and received the Anzac collection 4 weeks later with the $1 poppy coin.
I'm happy with that

I intend to get them graded and keep one (the best 1) for my collection :)

Here are a couple of images for all the "packkyboxitis" Mob.
The packaging on these is NOT air tight so expect the coins to get that awfull dark toning over the years to come :ok:
Also here is the obverse that you will never see :)

Had that opportunity early on myself but decided it was big business pulling on our strings. Since then it was like oops....I stuffed up. Today I purchased a complete ANZAC collection for $149.00. :scratch_one-s_head: but still :good: I think.
As we age we lose three things, one is our memory and arrrrr I've forgotten the other two!
