Hi fellow collectors, Need your opinions regarding the 1952a Melbourne Pointed and Square serif. Is the 52a square serif just a pointed serif from a worn die? Why does PCGS attribute a square serif as pointed? Cheers Stan.

Yes it is just a die chipped pointed serif and that is why PCGS attribute it as a pointed.
