I am in Perth on a job ( Night Shift).
I didn't bring any "Civvies" :dash1: If I can get in with "Work gear" I will be there this morning.
I have promised AC an "P" counterstamp coin so I'll see if I can get it for Her :good:

I just got here it doesn't start until 10 am it's only 9.15am and there is a que.
what is all that about?
This is my VERY first coin show that I have ever gone to.
I only have a couple of hours then I have to get some sleep for night shift.
Why the que?

haha there is always a que when I go to Melbourne! that's part of the fun, you get to chat to people, if its a nice day you will be fine its always cold and windy in mebourne and you freeze your but off. anyway you will be running on adrenaline for the whole day.
And don't forget to enjoy the stamping of your own coin - haha don't buy the pre stamped ones, press the button! so much fun and you get to see the screen of where the p is on the die, and the dude wears these finger gloves. haha and there is an limit of 5 at a time

you can get lost in there for days, haha I so want to be there, xx

I'm not a que person so I am out the front having a couple of smokes before I go in there.
I wonder if they will let me put an "AC" on your coin when I stamp it :laugh2:

After spending an hour in the wrong que :dash1: I ended up ordering a few "P" counterstamp from one of the dealers.

It cost me an extra $2 a coin but I just couldn't face the long que for them , anyway I will be getting some and will be able to send a couple away :good:
I saw some stunning coins but only bought a ch UNC 1972 5 cents and a 2009 "Goose" 20 cent coin.
By the look of the coins I saw and the prices my collections could be worth a lot more than I think they are :cool:
There was some nice Canberra florins there but I didn't see any better than mine :dash1:
I wish I could have spent longer there but I have to work tonite and travel tomorrow:cray:

The RAM did send out an email to Legends members saying that P counterstamps, if any were left after the show would be available to members through the website.

they have had a few problems with the legends program, they changed the person in charge to someone else, so I don't know how it will go.
