I ran out of album pages today and went to The Purple Penny's website but all they have are Vario brand pages. I remember they used to have their own brand - do they not any more?

If not, can anyone recommend a 20 to a sheet archive safe coin album page?

I suggest Lighthouse. The have a variety of coin sheets.

Thanks - I'll see what I can find here in Australia (I feel like someone stocks it).

I stocked up a while ago with plasticiser free coin sheets from Purple Penny. Holds 20 coins of 2" Saflips. PP also used to stock archival grade albums with slips but I don't think they stock them anymore.
Annoys the heck out of me that I still see dealers selling albums and sheets made with plasticised plastics and acid loaded cardboard.
Besides using coin sheets to hold Saflips I also use PCGS boxes to store 2.5" Saflips as they are a perfect fit. Started doing that for my heavier coins like my crowns as pages in albums just sag with the weight of the crowns.

Yes,freely avaiable in Aust.

I haven't purchased any for a while(over 2 years) but if you have access to a ABN you can get them off Renniks at wholesale.

Yeah I thought so neal - I don't need to buy them often but I guess I'm out of luck now.

Thanks Basil - was it this https://renniks.com/shop/renniks-coin-album-plastic-refill-pages-20-pockets-pack-10/? Looks like what I want but I'm just not sure which plastic it is.

Just a reminder: photographic slides are the same size as coin 2x2s. They're not as easy to come by as they used to be, but slide album pages work just as good as coin album pages for holding 2x2s. And photographic slide pages are almost always made of superior plasticizer-free plastic, because if a photographic slide goes all sticky, it's ruined.

There used to be a photo supplies store just near where I live, and I bought PrintFile pages from them for my coins. Awesome pages, highly recommend. Physical photography is now virtually extinct, so photo supplies stores are thin on the ground nowadays. I've since found the American manufacturer and tend to import a bulk quantity direct from them whenever I run out. I also use their binders as nice, sturdy, stackable albums.

I find it amusing that the manufacturer has realized that their pages have appeal to coin collectors, so have started marketing them as such on their website.

Those binders look interesting, I'll take it that is the USD price and GST will be added. What is the shipment cost from the US of say a carton load? I know posting anything from the US is expensive and just paid nearly 70USD for shipping a coin from Heritage by FedEx. Also what are the O rings made of? The PP binders I have have the pages held by plastic clips that often pop open in my florin and crown albums as they can't take the weight.

Yes,but the price has gone up $24.95,the last lot i purchased a couple of years ago were $19.95 IIRC.

Purple penny should have them in stock if you don't want to go the wholesale/trade route.

Interesting with the 2x2 photo slides, they were going for a song on Ebay a while back,i never twigged they would suit coins.

Mister T

Turns out The Purple Penny does still stock sheets.
