2023 $1 AFL coin released 15th May 2023

You can pretty much guarantee that someone (or lots of someones) at the security company is profiting by swapping them out.

[Goldseeker]

I purchased 10 tubes of coins and the fifth one opened gave me the two coloured coins.

I have complained to AustPost in regards the early release by certain money hungry grubbers.

[Pedro]

Well done Goldie!

So I went into the Sydney GPO and asked for a box of 10 rolls.
Off he tootles, then comes back and said they only had 9 rolls left.

So i've got a box of 9 rolls.

[Triggersmob]

Are you taking bets.

[Mister T]

I got a roll but no coloured coin (at the top anyway).

The latest Currency Determination is out and another lot of $1 AFL / AFLW coins are coming out.
It looks like they have the Queen Elizabeth Memorium on them dated 2024.
As there are 2 x $1 coloured coins I presume they will be in tubes again.

[Mister T]

Geez, still with the Queen Elizabeth II obverse?

[Pedro]

The 2023 AFL/AFLW series has hardly been a resounding success - a bit surprised that they would go back there again in a hurry.
