Canadian QEII Toonie

[redlock]

The Royal Canadian Mint will issue a coloured $2 coin to honour the late QEII on 07-Dec-2022

See: https://orders-in-council.canada.ca/attachment.php?attach=42876&lang=en

As this coin has been listed in ''orders-in-council'' it can be expected that the coin will be issued into actual circulation.

I wonder how long the RAM will be needing to come up with a similar coin.

[Mister T]

Hm true. Probably next year at this point.

Thanks for the heads up Ralf.

[Tanecoins]

Some of their toonies are beautiful though, lots of nice coloured designs by Aboriginal Canadian artists.

And the coin...

[Tanecoins]

They made it black, that is so cool. Oh those creative Canadians.
