Does anyone know what this is?

[WavyTwenty]

Greetings,

My sister has two of these coins and I am trying to determine what they are.  Does anyone know what it is?

[Sapyx]

It is, or at least it claims to be, a coin from the ancient Kushan Empire, which was situated in what is now Afghanistan.

However, this one has the appearance of a cast replica to me.

Many local ancient coins were and are being faked in Afghanistan, and the replicas sold to unsuspecting Westerners prior to the recent Taliban takeover.

Hey Sapyx.

I would agree that it is cast - I don't think that it has been struck from what I can tell. But I am no way knowledgeable on ancient coins.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
