NZ Proof coin sets

[gabby]

When did they start?

I have as the earliest 1970 - not sure if issued before that

Proof sets of the new decimal coins were first issued in 1967.

The pre-decimal era also had proof or proof-like coins/sets. The last proof/proof-like set was 1965.

I was out a little bit with the date - you have cleared it up

They can go cheaply on Ebay USA,lower than issue price often, if you have the time to monitor the listings.

Happy Xmas all.
