Have any more of the T20 Olympic paint mule mix-up coins been found? I haven't been keeping too close an eye on Facebook but I haven't seen any pop up.

My son just gave me 2 x 2020 $2 coins, 75 Yrs End WWII.

Got them from Woollies this morning. First I've seen of them.

I just checked with my wife, who is now a checkout chick at Woolies and she knows
nothing about them, so I don't think it's a special release by Woolies. May be just some
of those RAM reject rolls that have gone into circulation.

Looking at Ebay the End of WWII coins seem to be coming out in bags and security rolls so it appears that the RAM has decided to get them out there.

Here it is Ralf. I assumed a pic had already been posted as this coin has apparently been around since May, but couldn't find one anywhere.

There was a thread for them here, but it went off topic.

Thanks for the pictures folks.

I now remember seeing this coin somewhere before.

Ralf, that's one coin I don't have for you yet.
In fact I don't have one for myself yet. :(

Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

I am very confident you'll get enough of them for both of our collections eventually.

I'm glad you are confident. This is a very strange year. :(

No argument there...

Goldseeker

I have just got off the phone to the RAM and the non mint marked coin or circulating currency is NOT sold by the RAM.

Strange statement as the Mint Sets are circulating currency are they not.

I think they get away with this because you are paying for the package and the coins are incidental. This is all something to do with the ATO complaining that RAM was selling coins and they weren't getting their cut. This is why you can't "buy" coins in bags or rolls from the mint, only through dealers or as a swap at pop ups.
